Jesus Martinez, JD, MPA

With a dynamic career spanning nearly two decades in the mortgage and real estate industry, Jesus Martinez is recognized as a seasoned professional, lawyer, and respected consultant in residential and commercial lending.

Jesus embarked on his journey in the mortgage business in 2003, leveraging his legal background and expertise to navigate the complexities of the industry and deliver exceptional results for his clients.

Prior to leading 1st Capital Lending Group, Jesus cultivated a diverse skill set through roles at well-respected legal and capital markets firms. His tenure as Director of Business Development for regional and national lenders further solidified his reputation as a strategic leader with a keen understanding of market dynamics and client needs. In addition, he served in drafting loan documents and overseeing commercial acquisitions (multi-family, hotels and office buildings) between $2 to $70 millions nationally.

Jesus’s commitment to excellence and innovation is evident in his numerous accolades and achievements, including: Host and Consultant for Telemundo Orlando Daily News, recognition as the 2005 Top Orlando Realtor by Caribbean Business, with $25 million in sales, Paoli Award recipient for Central Florida Real Estate Company of the Year in 2005, appointment to the U.S. Congress Florida Small Business Chairman Committee, invited Speaker for professional summits and conferences, sharing insights on real estate and lending, Who’s Who in Real Estate Designation, invitation to the White House to meet the President’s Cabinet for a National Business Brief, Accredited Luxury Home Specialist (ALHS) Designation.

In his role as a Business Development Executive, Jesus has overseen mortgage lending transactions from origination to closing, representing business owners in acquisitions and leasing of commercial and residential properties. He provides invaluable consultative services, offering insights on area demographics, consumer behavior, economic development, and demand analysis to drive strategic decision-making.

Jesus’s contributions extend beyond the realm of real estate and lending. He has authored research papers on critical topics such as the Federal Housing Act and post-acquisition discrimination disputes, as well as bankruptcy and credit improvement measures.

As a media pioneer, Jesus started one of the first television shows focused on real estate acquisitions and finance for the Hispanic community. He later transitioned to Telemundo Orlando, collaborating with the evening news team on real estate, mortgage lending, and investments. His media concept expanded to radio, and social media where he covered Central Florida with insightful commentary on real estate trends and market dynamics. Jesus is consulted by the media in matters of real estate, mortgage lending and public affairs.

Jimena Perez Gil

Chief of Operations 1st Capital Lending Group

With over 20 years of experience in the financial and mortgage industry, Jimena Perez Gil serves as the Chief of Operations at 1st Capital Lending Group.

Her extensive background encompasses various roles in banking and financial advisory, demonstrating her expertise in client relations, credit analysis, and operational management.

Jimena’s journey in the financial sector began at Banamex SA/Citi Group, where she honed her skills as a Business Banker in Querétaro, México. During her tenure, she developed and sustained productive customer relationships with corporate clients, laying the foundation for her future success in the industry.

Her career trajectory led her to HSBC Mexico SA, where she served as a Business Banker in Querétaro, México, managing a diverse portfolio of over 80 corporate clients. Jimena excelled in developing, enhancing, and sustaining domestic and international customer relationships, while also advising clients on their financial needs. She played a pivotal role in preparing and delivering sales proposals, coordinating the implementation of banking products, and conducting thorough credit analysis and proposals. Her commitment to excellence extended to mentoring and training new team members, ensuring the continued growth and success of the organization.

Jimena’s journey culminated in her role as a Senior Business Banker at Wells Fargo in Melbourne, FL, where she provided invaluable financial guidance to clients, delivered efficient customer service, and facilitated credit applications. Her dedication to meeting client needs and solving complex financial challenges contributed to her reputation as a trusted advisor in the industry.

As the Chief of Operations at 1st Capital Lending Group, Jimena brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role, overseeing operational functions and driving strategic initiatives to support the company’s growth and success. Jimena holds multiple certifications in finance, a bachelor in science communications and mass media and a MBA degree from Monterrey Institute of Technology, in Queretaro, Mexico. In addition, she is a licensed Florida Mortgage Loan Originator. Jimena is fluent in Spanish, English,French and Portuguese.
